1994 - 1996 - hempcore
The band was formed in autumn 94 by Edþs and Ðtruhs inviting Klusais to be the bass player. Together with friends a new place for rehearsals/hanging out - Vőns 2 was formed, where a program of aproximately 15 songs is created. It is hard to characterize their style, it was kind of unordinary Latvian HC for that time, also named hempcore. Especially the accent was put on fast tempo, 3 vocals and interesting sound.
Till the end of year 1994 four good live shows were played, one of them in Parnu, Estonia. In November the first demo „Puskach” was recorded and released on Ő prod. At the beginnig of the year 1995 some live shows take place in Kuldiga with participation of Vonosonoloppus. Because of absistence of electricity at Vőns for whole summer the rehearsals were interrupted and re - started only in autumn when a new program was created and recorded - „Emeridos su burbia”. During the recording procedure temperature in Vőns was - 16 C.
About the same time the first latvian undeground vinyl was brought out on Dabrouka rec., France - Vonosonoloppus split 7” with 33 - x Letny Podonok. Releasing this 7” took quite long period of time, and in result the content and the design of it didn`t fit to expectations of both bands. During that time a popular place for live shows in Riga was rock cafe MAD MIX, where the presentation of this 7” was made. At that time 33 - x Letny Podonok had already split up and Kone (Guit., voc of 33 - x LP) played in a band 4 Zasushennih Gamburgera, which style was something like social - reggae, and Vonosonoloppus also decided to play acoustic. In two weeks all songs were re-arranged and the performance was so good that didn`t leave any doubts about what to play further.
1996 - 1998 - krava ( the load)
The band members were so excited about their new style that started to rehearse more often and for longer time. A couple of good live shows at MAD MIX followed, and partly they were recorded and released. It must be mentioned that during the existence of Vonosonoloppus not a single song was recorded with studio quality, which is so necessary for this kind of music. However, maybe it also was better this way, because each song was played in different ways at each live show, and the band was changing its name for each show like, for example, „Varde” (The frog), „Nak` Her”, „Vonos on Lopas”, „Izbalinati sasprogoto vjetnamiesu trupas pavadosa grupa”( the accompanying band of the troupe of Vietnameses with bleached and curled hair) etc.
Vonosonoloppus have also succesfully played their instrumental program at both marriage anniversaries and birthday parties, but their last live shows were at presentations of „Odekolons” comp. tapes in year 97 & 98. During that time interests of the band members grew more and more different and it was not possible for them to come together even to rehearse.
